Back To Work (A Thankful Post)

It’s a Wednesday night, and it feels like Sunday because I was literally at home for the past 2 days. 2 days of flood water, sandwiched on a holiday that made stay at home instead. Lemme show how it looked like last Tuesday.

At first I thought they were rescuers, until they came back from the neighbors. Turns out they thought it was fun to use the boat and check out the nearby houses. If someone to brave the waters, it is more of hip-deep in front of the house while it was waist deep on the street where the subdivision’s gate is located.

I am thankful that we were able to stock up before this calamity hit us. More thankful that watet barely touched the front door. Our situation is nothing to cry about compared to those whose houses went underwater, and worse for those who lost a loved one. I am thankful that we did not have to be sent to an evacuation center, and I am thankful that all our friends and families are safe. Thank you Lord!
